| Switched On For Success! |

The following article appeared in the Business Watch magazine in March 2002 regarding Collier Waters
' Oxbridge lane, Stockton is not the location you would normally associate with a haven for booming business, but, in fact it is home to one of the most successful companies of its kind in the country. Almost ten years ago, electricians Jeff Collier and Colin Waters, facing the prospect of redundency, decided to take the plunge and go into business on their own. Jeff said "Our first big break was with a contract gained from a local brewery". They worked as a team to ensure that the firm were so impressed with their work that contracts were soon piling in from other breweries. Following the initial contracts Collier Waters secured valuable maintenance contract which saw them take on two apprentices. With backing from Walker Hall Associates, the business doubled its projected turnover and in December of 2000 they purchased their premesis in Oxbridge Lane. The demand for electrical work throughout the North steadily increased and a fully comprehensive service is offered from Northumberland to Humberside. Health and safety issues are crucial for businesses nowadays and Collier Waters attention to detail and thorough service have stood them in good stead.' This coupled with the companies innovative approach to lighting has been the secret of their success. The issue of lighting is one much more than the obvious, their projects look at creating mood through uplighters, downlighters and spot and clarity without compromise to ergonomics. Demand has now increased into the domestic market and the company who now have eight full time electricians find themselves doing a range of different electrical jobs. "No two days are the same" says Colin Waters. "We operate 24-hours a day 365 days of the year". A key element in the growth of the business has been a realistic pricing structure and an excellent customer service and a personel interest to insure the needs of each customer are catered for. To pardon the pun the partnership of Collier Waters is definately "Switched on". |

To Whom It May Concern
Dear Sir,
Both Colin Waters and Jeff Collier have carried out electrical works for pubmaster, previously known as J W Cameron & Co. Ltd., for many years and have acted as Electrical Contractors on several major alterations to Public Houses, carried out under my supervision. In addition, they have also provided this company with a fast reliable maintenance service, and have at all times been willing to attend 'After hours' call outs and emergencies.
During the time i have known them, i have found Colin and Jeff to be thoroughly reliable and have noted their ability and willingness to work alongside Licencees and around their daily schedule.
I have been completely satisfied with their performance and have no hesitation in recomending their services to others.
Yours faithfully, For Pubmaster Limited A R Alton Area Surveyor |
